Maury,
Since I think that people participating in RADSAFE would (and should) be
interested in everything regarding natural science your message does not
seem to me to be off-topic especially since it refers to a spectacular
event.
Unfortunately for us poor Europeans the eclipse will be visible in
Middle Europe only extremely early in the morning. Please do not expect
me to stand up this early, especially since the weather forecast
announces that there will be thick clouds preventing the view on the
lunar eclipse. I remember having observed a lunar eclipse a few months
ago at a very convenient time in the early evening through a cloudless
sky.
Hope for you and your fellow watchers a clear sky!
Is there any change in cosmic rays to be expected? (Now it is on topic,
Mike....)
Franz
