Re: Re: Article on Edward Teller

As an assistant professor at Hamilton College in 1976, I taped an LP of Teller's lectures on relativity and quantum mechanics. Despite his strong accent, he was a crystal-clear and charismatic lecturer on the recording. I must find them and transfer those tapes to CD!

Then, ten years later, as an associate professor at West Point, I had the immense pleasure of seeing him lecture in person to our Physics Department faculty and cadets. Again, he was wonderful.

We all got to meet him after the lecture. When my lovely wife approached him (she was perhaps the only spouse to attend and she attended because I told her what a great lecture it would be), his eyes lit up and he gave her a big hug and kiss. Edward Teller hit on my wife! In front of me! And I didn't mind!
