Well, I should point out that Dr. Schott's study appeared in the
scientific peer-reviewed medical literature --
   http://rpd.oupjournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/103/3/211
-- while the Royal Society report did not.

Also, the chair of the Royal Society working group on depleted uranium,
Professor Brian Spratt, has made a number of comments subsequent to the
publication of their report expressing a great deal more concern than
the conclusions of the report might imply.
