Dear Gerry,

I do not really understand your desperation!

You as a US citizen should know, that it not really so long ago, that a
second or third class movie actor of wild-west films was elected
president of the USA. It is only a short time ago that an Austrian born
former world champion of body-building was elected governor of
California! 

The USA has survived the movie actor and I am sure that California will
survive the body-building champion, so why should the USA not survive
this Missile Defense Adviser, who has his knowledge from reading
magazines.....

I think the US-American characterisation of my comment is "Tongue in
cheek"....

Is the word flabbergasted an understatement here? ...Uh.....can someone
tell me why the NASA Establishes Exploration Systems Advisory Committee
needs a missile defense expert in the first place?
