Dear Colleagues,

The dimension of the problem on Safety and Security of Radiation Sources today raise global concerns and it is not necessary to go in details about. Since 1998 the IAEA has dedicated more emphasis on these issues, initially with the DIJON CONFERENCE and then continuously, specially after September/2001. I would strongly recommend to those interested to go deeply in this subject to start with the articles published in the IAEA Bulletin Radiation Safety & Security  (Volume 41, Number 3).
