I just discovered that a google search which is supposed to locate
my site is locating a number of junky alternatives, like old (thus
non-existant) addresses, a scratch version a friend of mine
had put on his local server newer than the actual site etc.
Recently a customer could find me, so the problem is relatively new
(2-3 weeks).
The reason is obviously in the search engine (I have made no
changes to the site since).
Now I know I have a number of enemies in the local (Bulgarian)
government. However, their arms appear way too short to be able
to influence Google; there is only one government I can think of
which certainly could do that.
Would anyone care to try a guess why this should be done?
(I don't really expect anyone who would know to come in).
Am I identified as an enemy simply because of the superior
spectroscopy technology I happen to have developed? Economically
this is microscopic, so I am really puzzled.
I know how paranoid this sounds, and I wish I could wake up
into a reality where it will be just that ...
