Two "Small" Explosions" Outside of British Consulate in Midtown Manhattan
5 May 2005: Shortly before 4:00 am today, two explosions from improvised
explosive devices planted in concrete planters in front of the British
Consulate Office, 845 3rd Avenue, New York were detonated, shattering the
glass windows and door of the office as well as at least one other building.
The blasts took place concurrent with the general elections in the U.K. No
injuries were reported, and no suspects have been identified.
