Referring to comments by J Johnson, P Duport and O Raabe, I remember 20 years ago Aladar Dory of 
AECB Canada frequently pointed out that it was incorrect to 'assign' all uranium miner lung cancer cases to 
RnD, because miners were also, inevitably, exposed to arsenic, nickel, asbestos (in many ultramafic rocks 
as a minor contaminant), silica, and -wait for it- benz-a-pyrene etc in diesel fumes......
