Neutron QFs

This is a reply to Jeffrey Pettigrews request for information
about the reactions of variuos bodies, particularly non-US
about the ICRP increase of neutron quality factors.

The British Committee for Radiation Protection, way back in 1986
(J. Soc. Radiol. Prot, 6,(3),139(1986) ) decided that the evidence
for an increase was weak, particularly for neutrons alone, and
reccommended that ICRP 21 QFs continue to be used.

I understand that a similar position has been adopted throughout
The European Community.

I believe that the next revision of the Hisoshima / Nasaki bomb
survivors will provide more convincing data.
