The position of Chief, Bureau of Radiation Control, has been posted.
This individual would run the day-to-day operations of the Texas
regulatory program for radiation control.

General Description:

Under general administrative direction of the Associate Commissioner
for Environmental and Consumer Health Protection, responsible for
developing anddirecting a statewide program for radiation control
in accordance with state statutes; supervises all program activities
assigned to the Bureau

Requirements:

B.S. and 8 years experience in a state of federal radiation control
agency, including at least 6 years of senior administrative/managerial
responsibility;  or

MS or MPH and 6 years experience as above and 4 years admin responsibility

Prefer degree in radiological health, health physics or related subject.


Salary: $5416.67-$5625 per month
