HP Software

I work in Radiation Safety at Cornell University. We are also using Paradox
Version 3.5 for a lot of our records. We are planning to upgrade to either
Paradox 4.0 or Paradox for Windows once we replace one more antique
computer. We use it for waste records, sealed source inventory, meter
calibrations, water effluent release from the reactor, radioiodine effluent
releases from fumehoods, and various other things. Our RSO is currently
working on setting up a permit system on it and I will soon be setting up a
system to keep sanitary sewered waste records. Due to lack of time and
personnel, we are thinking of hiring a programer to set up an inventory
system for us. We have had pretty good luck with Paradox overall. Are any
of the other people who are using Paradox going to the mid-year HPS meeting
in Albany? I'd like to compare notes if its feasible.
