          Just out of curiosity, what sort of device is the researcher
          building?  I have yet to see any significant amount of
          scatter radiation from most research x-ray units.  Also most
          state and many federal agencies frown upon "homemade" x-ray
          devices.  You might check with your local Rad control agency
          before you get to far into the project.  I would like to
          hear what the final configuration of the device turns out
          like for future reference.
