Hospital sewer releases

Hi,
   Here in the UK we are regulated as to discharges &, amongst many 
other duties, we (I!) must estimate all patient activities excreted to 
sewer. The D of Envir. has surveyed such discharges &, in '89, the NRPB 
was contracted by the D of E (HMIP) to estimate "rad. exp. of sewer workers 
associated with radioactive discharges from hospitals". The report, with 
this title, was published in July '91 and is numbered DoE/HMIP/RR/91/031. 
It contains tables of discharges etc, etc. You could try contacting either 
the D of E or NRPB for a copy of the report.
