uranyl acetate
Uranyl acetate is regarded as a mixed waste due to the radioactive and
oxidizer properties. Typically it is treated (solidified) in the
collection container to remove the oxidizer property.
Realize Barnwell License 097 Condition 45 Requires all ash or dispersable
powders to be solidified or be bound in a matrix.
Both uranyl acetate and nitrate would (if powder) be required to be
solidified. Barnwell will not accept liquids. Yes, it has been tried
before.
