Would like to suggest that you check with your library/Librarian. Many
of the online sources make finding these materials much easier now. This
specific information would probably be easily located in the Energy Science and
Technology file, either on CD-ROM or via a commercial system like DIALOG. The
older file, Nuclear Science Abstracts would take you back 1948-1976, then the
Energy file brings you into the current literature.
The old AEC material might be available through the Office of Scientific
& Technical Information in Oak Ridge or through NTIS, the Natl. Technical
Information Service, distributor for federal govt. docs., including the Navy
documents/drawings/designs (unless those were distributed on a limited basis.)
A third alternative is to locate the library in your area that is the Federal
Depository Library, to which govt. docs. within specific categories are sent for
free and access by the public.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
