Re: Radioactivity from burning coal -Repl

There was a science fiction story (Astounding Magazine) written
by author Jack Williamson, sometime in the late 1930s or 40s, in
which a telepathic criminal can focus his "thought waves" into a
tightly controlled beam thereby triggering small-yield atomic
explosions within a human being. He does this, apparently, by
fissioning a potassium isotope in the human body. The whole
world is held captive as the criminal roams the streets of the
world fissioning anybody who gets in his way. There are tiny
atomic detonations on city streets all over the planet. A creepy
story to illustrate the outrageous side of things nuclear. Does
anyone know the title of this story and if it is still in print?
