when sent to listserv@romulus.ehs.uiuc.edu, will fix this problem,
methinks.

There may also be a "confirm" option, too, but mebbe Hector can shed some
light.  A "confirm" request by the original sender would have stemmed the
(annoying) tide of confirmation messages.
