Info on radium paint?

    Several decades ago radium-containing paint was used to make
    luminescent dials for watches and aircraft instruments.

    Does anyone know about the radium composition - Ra-226 vs Ra-228?
    Concentrations?  Manufacturing techniques?  Sources of radium used?

    Any leads to old books or journal references would be appreciated!

    Since da 'Boys won't be playing in the Super Bowl, I'll have time
    this weekend to rummage through the UTexas library stacks.
