ISOTOPES/ANIMAL CARE

We are having "issue and  no answer" sessions with our laboratory small 
animal 
care people, animal use committee people, researchers, and of course us in the
 
radiation safety corner...anyway, with such a crowd, and each group having 
different 
objectives in mind, compromise seems to be a spec far off on the distant 
horizion...somewhere. Some issues are cage and water bottle sanitation, feed 
and water assurance, and duration of time animals can be kept in the labs.
There seems to be a lack of trust where ever regulation enters the picture, 
especially on the researchers behalf, (who are the ones who provide the 
means to our daily bread)...
