Re: HEPA VACS for hot work

Yes, I do have a recommendation for a HEPA vacuum cleaner. I have used
a NILFISK HEPA vacuum cleaner both in a class 100/10,000 cleanroom
application as well as for a filtration system associated with a
radioactive waste compactor system.
I have been very pleased with the quality of the NILFISK. It has prefilters
so the more expensive HEPAs don't get garbaged up too quickly.
Anyway, a NILFISK can be purchased, for $999.00 from:
			Lab Safety Supply
			PO BOX 1368
			Janesville, WI 53547
			(800) 356-0783
	(catalog # YB-1950)
Lab Safety Supply has another HEPA vacuum called "Euroclean" but
I don't know about this other brand; but again very happy with the
NILFISK.
Another company called "National Sanitation Supply" in
Van Nuys, California sells parts, bags, filters, etc. at reasonable
prices so they may even sell the NILFISK unit itself. Don't have
their phone number.

Good Luck!

Does anyone have any recommendations for hepa vacuum cleaners?
Specifically one that will effectiely pick up large metal particles
generated from grinding and drilling on radiologically "hot" panels?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
