A new ANSI standard for a Thyroid Phantom

As Section Chairperson of the Internal Dosimetry section of
of the HPSSC I would like to inform you that I have formed a new
group that will write a standard entitled:

"Standard for a Thyroid Phantom used in Occupational Monitoring" - N13.44

The standard will focus on what type of phantom should be used to 
calibrate a thyroid counter and the optimum method of determining the 
thyroid burden.

I have selected a working group chairperson but now we need volunteers to 
work on the standard.  If you are interested I invite you to contact the 
working group chairperson, Dr. Robert Keys, at either 505 665 1338 or at 
rkeys@lanl.gov to obtain further information.
