We use various flavors of the Tennelec LB-5100 Series II. It is an
automatic alpha/beta counter. We have had some problems in the past
with the keyplate (pressure pad controls) and with the computer
interface equipment. In general, however, they have performed well
under very heavy use in Decontamination and Decommissioning work.
