Director of Environmental Health & Safety, Dartmouth College

Dartmouth College is seeking a new Director for its Office of Environmental
Health & Safety. This person will be responsible for the EHS group, which
currently consists of 5 full-time personnel, and will oversee the activities of
the radiation safety program, and programs encompassing chemical safety,
biological safety, hazardous waste, EPA and OSHA regulations and other related
areas. This individual is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant
State, Federal and local regulations as they apply to the Dartmouth campus.
Candidates for the position must have at least a Master's Degree in Health
Physics, Chemistry, Industrial Hygiene or a related field, at least 3 years of
experience in a management position, and must demonstrate high-level verbal,
writing, training and management skills. This position reports directly to the
Dartmouth College Vice President and Treasurer. Salary will be commensurate
with previous experience and demonstrated exertise in the above fields. Persons
