Yeah, whoa. I didn't catch the R vs. mR. My post was for mR actually mRem readings. Please multiply by 1000 if it is indeed .5 R/hr at 30 cm. Also, the activity may be slightly higher due to absorption of x-rays in the source. I was assuming it was a rod type check source. I really need to learn to read better! [8-) Dale
