RE: A=alpha
There are many phonetic alphabets, but I believe the one used by the military
and aviation is as follows:
alpha, bravo, charlie, echo, foxtrot, golf, hotel, india, juliet, kilo, lima,
mike, november, oscar, papa, quebeq, romeo, sierra, tango, uniform, victor,
whiskey, x-ray, yankee, zulu.
Someone please correct any residual errors, since I have been out of the
military for 7 years now and out of field units for nine.
Dave

You know this is sometimes to easy.
Here's a totally unrelated-to-radiation question. But I figure
that this is a very good place to get the correct answer
(albeit a long answer).
What are the words that go with the alphabet, in the sense of:
alpha, bravo, charlie, delta, echo, foxtrot...
It's a handy tool and I am clueless for about 10 of 'em.
Thanks again,
