I finally have the official job posting for the position I had
earlier referenced (only 4 working days into a 10 working day

The Texas Bureau of Radiation Control has a job opening for an HP III.

Where: Texas Bureau of Radiation Control, Austin, Texas

What:  General License Specialist, Licensing Branch

When:  Close date is May 9.  All applications must be RECEIVED by
that date.

Salary: approximately $31K/year

How: You must use a Departmental of Health application form.  Resumes

General Job Description:
Does licensing review of applications, requests for amendment and
termination for general license acknowledgements (primary job) and
specific licenses;  Maintains General License databases; aids in
review of decommisioning funding plans, financial security estimates
and financial surety instruments.  Performs other Licensing Branch and
Agency functions as directed.

Mainly, a lot of review and analysis of submitted information and a
lot of time corresponding/speaking with licensees.

Requirements: Bachelor's degree plus 3 years full time experience
directly related to radiological health control functions.  6 months
experience = 15 undergrad semester hours = 9 grad semester hours
