Type A container

Since the Type A specification is a performance spec, and 49CFR requires
you to have on hand all the testing information related to that spec,
the real issue is 'is there a commercial supplier that tests packages for
contents specified by the buyer and provides all required documrentation'.

In most cases the 'package' is a relatively simple container, unless the
contents are particularly challenging. Doing all the tests is the bother.
Having been cited for simply accepting someone else's certification, I can
say that NRC expects you to have all the testing data.
