Static Reduction/Radon Daughters

We had similar problems in Phoenix. The following things didn't work very
 well, if at all:

 1) Commercial anti-static sprays applied before exposure. 2) Sprays applied
after exposure. 3) Room ionizers in the "waiting" area. 4) Tape to remove
 particulates. 5) Water sprays.

Our best solution was to ban clothing based on the material. We went to
mandating all cotton clothing. Of course, we had to take our brand new bosses
pants away from him just a few minutes before a meeting with a corporate V-P
to get support for this. Polyester and poly blends are particularly bad
 actors.

On a similar note, we also noticed that almost all airborne radionuclides have
a similar affinity for static filled clothing, as do "hot" particles.
