SUPERVISORY HEALTH PHYSICIST, GS-1306-13

Location:  Assessments and Training Directorate, Field Command, Defense Nuclear
Agency (FCDNA), Kirtland Air Force Base, Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Duties: 
Directs all
activities of the Interservice Nuclear Weapons School that deal with radiation
effects, elimination or control of radiological hazards, and remediation of
contaminated sites.  This includes the management and technical direction of
radiation safety programs involving both faculty and students, development of
curricula and management of Nuclear Weapons Display Facility.  In addition,
incumbent serves as the Field Command Health Physicist, advising the Commander,
FCDNA, on all environmental health and radiological safety matters and
establishing command policy for radiation monitoring programs.  KSAs:  1. 
Knowledge of radiation effects, elimination or control of radiological hazards,
and remediation of contaminated sites.  2.  Knowledge of curricula development
in radiation effects.  3.  Ability to provide technical direction to faculty
and students with regard to radiation safety requirements.  4.  Knowledge of
formulation, establishment, and coordination of basic requirements for
radiation safety activities.  SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/CONDITIONS:  Must be able to
