     Here's the latest:
     
     Environmentalists, objecting to President Clinton's nomination of 
     Greta Dicus to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, say the Senate 
     should take a closer look at her record. Dicus' name has surfaced in a 
     scandal involving the theft of nearly $1 million in Central States 
     Low-Level Radioactive Waste Commission funds.
