Does anyone have any up-to-date information on the ability of silver
loaded silica gel to adsorb radioiodine when used in an air sampler?
I have a 1988 report which indicates the retention rate is about 6%
and some older information which indicates a retention rate of 90%.
This is for air sampling with a flow rate of one to three cfm,
temperatures in the 90 degree F range and humidity approaching 100%.
