     The Handbook, dated 1970 also shows the same info as you have listed. 
     On Page 131 the gamma ray constant for I-125 is .7 R/hr at 1 m/Ci

The revised edition of "The Health Physics and Radiological Health
Handbook", edited by Shleien, copyright 1992, indicates that the specific
gamma ray dose constant for I-125 is 7.432-5 (mSv/h)/MBq (or 0.274 mR/hr per
mCi at 1 meter).  This is an order of magnitude greater than several other
references I have.  Does anyone know of any errata issued for this handbook?
