The Health Physics and Radiological Health Handbook contains descriptions of
workplaces classified as Type I, Type II and Type III. It is derived from the
Guidelines for the Radiation Protection of Workers in Industry.
Table 11.1.1.2 is useful for showing your researchers just how much activity
they would have to be working with for a foot pedal sink to be a required part
of the lab setup.
