CHP "Code of Ethics"

Apparently there is some interest in this topic.  With the degree of
interest indicated in this cross-section of the HPS, one wonders why only
three weeks are allowed to return comments.  After all, it took apparently
two *years* to write. :-) 

To set the record straight, the title of the subject document as
published in the HPS Newsletter is "Standards of Professional
Responsibility for Certified Health Physicists".  However, the foreword
refers to the contents as "...standards for ethical conduct..."

Just for comparison, peruse the "Professional Responsibilities" statement 
by the ABHP on p. 228 of the 1994-1995 HPS directory.  Other than the oath 
of fealty to the AAHP, does the AAHP document really cover more ethical 
ground than the much more concise ABHP statement?
