Q-Gas and PR-Gas Info -Reply

Q gas:  98.7% helium and 1.3% butane was used with gas flow GMs

PR gas (proportional gas) 90% argon and 10% methane

These mixture come from an old AEC instrument manual #RIB-8 part 2
fromm July 1 1954 "Radiation Measuring Instruments and Associated
Components"

However, it is possible, other mixtures used the name Q gas as well.
