Re: Wilhelm Roentgen



The Washington Post has a nice article in today's paper on the Roentgen
story.  It is a bit too long to quote entirely, plus copyright rules I would
be fearful of.

The reference is:

A few comments:
"Within months, 'x-ray' mania swept the industrial world...
"Manufacturers sold lead underware to keep strangers from peeking through
mythical "X-ray glasses."
and
