What? 'Not finding any pearls? I think I've found enough for a couple of
necklaces (for my wife, of course :~) ). 'Ever hear of the phrase, "The
proof is in the pudding," (sorry, paraphrased for space purposes)? These
seemingly innocuous anecdotes bring home, in short order, the
significance of the great lengths we health physicists/Radiation
engineers/radiation safety professionals ('hope I caught everyone) go to in
ensuring the health and safety of our fellow workers -- and the
consequences when enough measures are not in place (but of course,
sometimes there are never enough measures).
Craig, I think you might find some pearl *dust* under your Delete key. ;-)
