Uptake of U, Ra and Th by plant life..

Does anyone know how much U, Th, and Ra plants will take up if grown
in soil with unnaturally high concentrations of these isotopes.  The
end question is:  How much if any hazard would there be cutting these
plants down and if they could just be composted..
