Skin Therapy Dinosaur

G'day All

The Centre for Health & Medical Physics here at QUT is establishing new
facilities. One of the x-ray units they wish to install is an old skin
therapy unit which they "acquired" from a dermatologist about 6 years ago.
There is no paper work at all for this unit.

I am doing the shielding design for the new facilities and need some specs
on this unit. The details are below. If anyone can provide any info at all
with respect to this I would be very grateful.

Controls labelled as : Profexray TX-2 Control

Tube labelled as : Profexray CAT No. A-4000

Maximum kVp (on the dial) = 110kVp

Maximum tube current (on the dial) = 10mA

I would really like to know the maximum continuous rated tube current. Also,
the maximum tube leakage as specified by the manufacturer would be nice!

Have a good weekend
