CEP was raided by the DOE's Alburquerque IG office, the State of New Mexico and 
the FBI on November 8, 1994 for actions that questioned the reliability of
analytical 
results for urine samples from Sandia National Laboratory. On November 25,
1994, the
NRC issued Information Notice 94-81, "Accuracy of Bioassay and Environmental
Sampling
Results."  Since that time, results from the investigation prompted referral
of the
case to DOJ for prosecution.  DOJ reviewed and accepted the case.

Any additional information about findings and/or status must be referred to DOJ.
