Re: Background




"technologically enhanced" NORM (e.g., oil and gas NORM) gets awfully
close.  The exemptions levels for such in Texas include background
radiation.  So adding 1 uR/hr to 60 uR/hr background is much worse
than added 20 uR/hr to a 20 uR/hr background.
