Re: ?? detector help .

Why do you need to build one? Why can't you purchase a detector to
detect the 511kev? Why reinvent the wheel....

Hi all,

Here is a forwarded e-mail from someone looking for some help. If
someone could e-mail them and provide help (or equipment), I am sure that
this person would appreciate it. Please respond to the person, not Radsafe.

Thanks, as always,

I need to build a radiation detector to detect 511 keV
photons. I have budget constraints of $5000. What is the
best way to go about building one? What kind of detector
would be the most efficient, accurate, and cost effective?
