WM '96 and ICONE 4 nuclear conferences
I am posting the following info received from WM Symposia regarding forthcoming
meetings of interest.

Two upcoming conferences related to nuclear power are the following
conferences that WM Symposia, Inc. ( a not for profit company is working on):
WM '96
This years conference is the 22nd annual waste management conference,
scheduled for Tucson, Arizona, February 25-29, 1996, is hosted and sponsored
by the University of Arizona, also sponsored by ANS, the U.S. Dept of Energy,
New Mexico State University and the Waste-management Education and Research
Consortium (WERC), and American Society of Mechanical Engineers. The
conference is organized in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy
Agency. This years conference is titled "HLW,LLW, Mixed Wastes and
Environmental Restoration", and has 59 sessions and over 500 papers. The
past three years have had over 2000 in attendance. For more information

ICONE-4
The International Conference on Nuclear Engineering , March 10-14, 1996 in
New Orleans, LA, is the 4th Conference in the series, jointly sponsored by
American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Japan Society of Mechanical
Engineers. The conference title is "Global Advances in Nuclear
Engineering". The conference has about 450 papers expected, and about 700
attendees. Papers will be presented by authors from over 20 countries, and
30% of the attendees will be from outside of the US. ICONE has a home page
on the World Wide Web at http://www.anl.gov/RE/ICONE and information about
registration is through ASME in New York, Mr. Brian Bilgalke at
212-705-7057. The final program is being finalized and will be used to
update the www in a couple of weeks.
