Cats don't read signs that say, "contaminated area - keep out" and would ignore 
them if they could read them.  They're cats, and ignore instructions is what
cats
do best.

This may sound a little naive, but how are these cats getting radioactive? Can
one assume from this that any unauthorized walk-abouts in a nuclear plant will
cause a person to leave contaminated? Is there radioactivity just lying about?
