Re: Pregnant Radiation Workers



     Due to court rulings regarding exposure to hazardous materials, we no 
     longer discriminate against pregnant females, i.e., restricting them 
     from working in a radiation or radioactive materials office. 
     
     Once they become an officially declared pregnant female, they have the 
     right to ask for exclusion from radiation or radioactive material 
     areas. If they chose to continue working in these areas, they are 
     administratively limited to 50 mrem/month for a total gestation period 
     administration dose of 450 mrem
