It depends on the status of the facility license. If you are a broad
licensee, the NRC takes the position that you must manage your waste as if it
were under your license. This would require that the radioactive waste, if a
byproduct material such as Co-60, would need to be sent to your local rad
waste disposal facility. For Maryland? Barnwell?
If it is NORM material you might be able to get Richland USEcology to take
it.
Envirocare would probably not be appropriate because you probably have
relatively small volumes.
