PREVIEW OF THIS MONTH'S PROGRAM from Bev DeOcampo

Our program features a timely discussion on the status of California's
proposed low-level radioactive waste disposal facility at Ward Valley.
In February, Deputy Interior Secretary John Garamendi called for more
studies that will significantly delay the project. In response to
this delay and continuing federal interference, Governor Wilson
announced an effort to return responsibility for low-level waste
disposal back to the federal government.

Dave Duke, an NCCHPS member who works in PG&E's Governmental Affairs
Department, will report on California's political hot potato called
     Ward Valley.
