Software programs for health physics

I am looking for software that is being used in medical research programs to
keep track of radioactivity received, stored, used and disposed.  I have
heard that there is some shareware available as well as commercial programs.
 Also I remember hearing a lecture by someone in Boston (I think) using
Prodigy.  Has anyone had experience with different versions and found one
superior to the other?
