Food irradiation info

          Hello fellow rad safers,

               My name is SSG Michael Williamson.  Currently, I am
          assigned to the United States Army Medical Research
          Institute of Infectious Diseases at Fort Detrick, Maryland
          as a HP Tech.

               I need some assistance finding information on the food
          irradiation process.  What I am looking for is,
          information on the pros and cons of this process and
          general information for an English paper I need to write.
