Although not a technician myself, I take offense to your
implication regarding who performs "real" health physics
work. The technicians that I work with perform a great deal
of invaluable "real" health physics work. I am sure there are
much better descriptions of the difference between what
professional level HP's perform (mostly in their office) and
what technicians perform ( representing the health physics
organization in the field). If the original sender of the thread
would like to contact a technician/CHP (Part I/II the first
time) for advise on his submission I would be happy to
provide a contact.

Dave,
I believe that they will accept any serious technical report
that demonstrates real health physics (not technician)
quality of work.
Quite frankly, I suspect they don't put too much weight on
this document any more (if ever), due to the enormous
number of applicants.
